Killing Innocent People according to ISLAM

Killling innocent being (irrespective of Muslim or non Muslim) is one of the biggest sin in Islam. Killing one innocent is just like you killed whole of humanity.

Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly andjustly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just. Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) indriving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong. [Qur’an – 60: 08,09]

Again Qur’an says in Surah 5 verse 32 :

“On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person – unless it be for murder or for spreadingmischief in the land – it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.

The Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) said about the behaviour of the Muslim army (When the war was going on):

“Set out for Jihad in the name of Allah and for the sake of Allah. Do not lay hands on the old verging on death, on women, children and babes. Do not steal anything from the booty and collect together all that falls to your lot in the battlefield and do good, for Allah loves the virtuous and the pious.”

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “All men come from the Prophet Adam, and the Prophet Adam comes from the earth,’ there is no difference between people.“[Reported by Ibn Majah]

Hopefully, these verses of the Quran and hadith clarify you all to whom we should fight and whom we cannot. We should pay attention to those people who just quotes thing out of context and some time wrong text and try to say that Islam allow to kill innocent non muslim. Islam does not allow to kill innocent peoples whether Muslims or non-muslims, and teaches us to treat them well.

“April Fools? – or ‘ MUSLIM’ FOOLS DAY?”

“April Fools Has Come and Past, Now Who’s the Biggest Fool at Last?” Say ‘ No ‘ to April Fool “Yaa ayulatheena amanu attaqallah wa quloo qawlan sadeedan.” “O you who believe, fear Allah and always speak the truth.” Holy Quran 33:69

Once again people are trying to fool the Muslims – We received the following email and felt it necessary deal with this subject – without ‘fooling around’ any longer.

Now as regards the incorrect story circulating amongst the Muslims on the Internet saying that April Fool’s Day is the celebration of the kufar over the conquest of Muslim Spain. I felt that it was necessary to clarify a few points in the interest of truth, inshallah.
Bismillah Al Hamdulilah was Salat wa Salam ala Rasoolulah. Allahu Alim.
In the Name of Allah, I praise Allah and ask for His Peace upon Muhammad, ameen. Allah Alone is The All-Knower.

Once again, Muslims are circulating a fabrication on the Internet trying to claim things which can easily be proven incorrect by Christians and non-Muslims who rejoice in watching us play the part of Everyday Fools.

The most recent story says that Christians could not conquer the Muslims there and sent spies to discover why. According to the story, they found that the Muslims there were on the ‘Taqwah’ (God Fearing and Pious) of Islam. Then the story says the Christians sent in alcohol and cigarettes which the Muslims used and lost their ‘Taqwah’ and then the Christians defeated the Muslims on April first and began celebrating ‘April Fool’s Day’ ever since.
This story is not correct in many aspects.

• First, let us consider the historic fact that Muslim Spain ended on the 12th of January in the Christian year of 1492 A.D. Yet ‘April Fool’s Day was not heard of until over fifty years later. Once upon a time, back in 16th-century France, before computers, people celebrated New Year’s Day on March 25, the advent of spring. It was a festive time. They partied steadily until April 1. In 1564, when the calendar reformed and became Gregorian, under the influence of Pope Gregory, King Charles IX proclaimed, perhaps pompously, that New Year’s Day should be celebrated on January 1st instead of in the spring. Diehard conservatives resisted the change (or perhaps didn’t hear about it due to the absence of e-mail) and continued to celebrate New Year’s from March 25 to April 1. During this period of spring festivity, the more flexible French mocked the rigid revelers by sending them foolish gifts and invitations to nonexistent parties. The victim of an April Fools’ Day prank was called a “Poisson d ‘Avril,” or an “April Fish,” because at that time of year, the sun was leaving the zodiacal sign of Pisces. April Fools’ Day hit its stride (avoiding the banana peel) in England in the 18th century, and was brought to colonial America by the English, Scottish, and French.

• 2.) Second, we should know that cigarettes were not even invented until AFTER the time of the fall of Muslim Spain (January 1492). According to the State College in Framingham, the Human Biology course by Dr. Roger Morrrissette, Ph.D., smoking of any kind did not exist in Spain until after it was brought back from the New World AFTER King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella had come to rule Spain.

•  Muslim Spain began to deteriorate at the time of Ibn Seenah and others who were beginning to use their logic in place of Divine Revelation of Allah. Some were very interested in the Greek and Roman philosophies and concepts and began to try to ‘rethink’ Islam much the same as some ‘modernists’ are doing today. It was right after this that Muslim Spain began to divide up into small kingdoms and fight against each other for control and gold. They employed mercenaries from amongst the Christians and killed and destroyed each other for a number of years. When the Christians came against them the first time, they appealed to the ruler of Maghrib (Morocco) across the Mediterranean Sea who sent troops to quell the attacks. He stipulated that the Muslims must stop fighting each other and go back to the Islamic system of rule under one leader. They did not do it. When they began fighting each other again, the Christians came in very strong against them and this time the ruler of Morocco refused to help them. They lost battle after battle against the Roman Christians and finally the last stronghold of Islam fell to the Christian King, Ferdinand, in January of 1492. So regarding the email claiming that April Fools Day is a celebration of the take over of Muslim Spain, it is clear the whole thing is a made up lie. This is totally unacceptable and should be brought to the attention of the one who sent you this lie in the first place. A good Muslim would never accept to repeat lies and fabrications especially in presenting facts about the history of Islam.

If you have received such a letter it is your duty in front of Allah to write back to those who also received it and ask them to contact all of those on their lists and email the truth about this issue. And we should all fear a Day when we will stand in front of Allah and be asked about these matters.

If we don’t do something about correcting the education of our beloved brothers and sisters in Islam, then everyday on the internet is MUSLIM FOOLS DAY.

In Islamic point of view celebration of April fool is not permissible because Qur’an says: ‘ O you who believe, fear Allah and always speak the truth. [33:69]’ , so the verse indicates that don’t tell a lie and this is sufficient for a muslim that Qur’an prohibiting as well as a hadith which is indicating the consequences of lying : Abdullah reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Truth leads one to Paradise and virtue leads one to Paradise and the person tells the truth until he is recorded as truthful, and lie leads to obscenity and obscenity leads to Hell, and the person tells a lie until he is recorded as a liar. Seek knowledge !!  Educate yourselves !!   Be educated !!

The concept of education in Islam is not only getting decent earnings but practicing it in real life for the betterment of the others. It was as a result of application of knowledge that Muslims were the superpower of the world for twelve centuries.

Knowledge is the most important thing in one’s life. There are two kinds of knowledge: Religious knowledge and Secular knowledge..both kinds of knowledge’s are very important for a human being. Secular for this day to day dwelling and religious for his smooth life on earth and hereafter.

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala has commenced the revelation of the Holy Qur’an by mentioning regarding the importance of Knowledge,

“Read and your Lord is Most Honorable, who taught (to write) with the pen, who taught man what he knew not.”(Qur’an, 96-3-5)

 

Ibn Abbas Radiyallahu ‘anhu reported that the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said to a group of companions,“When you pass by the meadows of Paradise indulge freely in it! They said: O Messenger of Allah! What are the meadows of Paradise? He said: The circles of ‘Ilm (knowledge).”(Tabrani)

To seek knowledge is a sacred duty; it is obligatory on every Muslim, male and female. The first word revealed of the Quran was “IQRA” means READ!

“Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know?” (Al-Zumr, ayah 9)

“Allah grants wisdom to whom He pleases and to whom wisdom is granted indeed he receives an overflowing benefit.” (Al-Baqarah, ayah 269)

The challenges of modern times call for rebuilding the structure of our educational program on such a foundation as to fulfill our spiritual as well as temporary obligations. Today we need an education system which can produce, what the late Sayyed Abul A’ala Mawdudi Rahimullah said, “Muslim philosopher, Muslim scientist, Muslim economist, Muslim jurist, Muslim statesman, in brief, Muslim experts in all fields of knowledge who would reconstruct the social order in accordance with the tenets of Islam.”

The Muslims today are the most humiliated community in the world. And should they persist in following the same educational program as given by their colonial masters, they will not be able to recover themselves from moral and spiritual decadence.

Ibn Mas’ud (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said:” The position of only two persons is enviable; the person whom Allah bestowed wealth empowering him to spend it in the way of righteousness, and the person whom Allah gave wisdom with which he adjudges and which he teaches to others“.

According to Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah, Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: ” A single scholar of religion is more formidable against shaytaan than a thousand devout persons.”

Holy Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam encouraged all Muslims to acquire knowledge and share it. He said: “Acquire knowledge, for he who acquires it in the way of Allah performs an act of piety; he who speaks of it, praises the Lord; he who seeks it, adores Allah; he who dispenses instruction in it, bestows alms; and he who imparts it to others, performs an act of devotion to Allah”. (Bukhari, Muslim)

 

“Only those from amongst His servants who possess knowledge are the ones who fear Allah; surely Allah is Mighty Most Forgiving.”
(Qur’an, 35:28)

 

Islam is our greatest gift. We have to be thankful for this gift. We have to render to Allah His due. Allah has given us so much by making us a part of the Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad (S) so we must totally commit ourselves as followers of the Prophet (S). We must become true Muslims.

Now how can we become Muslims in the true sense of the word? First let’s define what a Muslim is. A Muslim is not a Muslim simply because he’s born one. A Muslim is a Muslim because he is a follower of Islam, a submitter to the Will of Allah. We’re Muslim if we consciously and deliberately accept what has been taught by the Prophet Muhammad (S) and act accordingly. Otherwise we’re not true Muslims.

The first and most crucial obligation on us is to acquire knowledge and secondly to practice and preach this knowledge. No man becomes truly a Muslim without knowing the meaning of Islam, because he becomes a Muslim not through birth but through knowledge. Unless we come to know the basic and necessary teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (S) how can we believe in him, have faith in him, act according to what he taught? It is impossible for us to be a Muslim, and at the same time live in a state of ignorance.

Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu ‘anhu narrated that The Prophet Sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said: “Whoever seeks a way to acquire knowledge Allah will make easy his way to paradise.” (Muslim), Also Anas Radiyallahu ‘anhu related that the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said: “Seeking of knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim.”(Ibn Majah)

Jabir Ibn Abdullah Radiyallahu ‘anhu narrated that the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said:“ People are of different substances, the best of them in the Jahiliyah (A state of ignorance), are the best in Islam, if they gain ‘Ilm (knowledge).” (Ahmad)

It is essential to understand that the greatest gift of Allah? For which we are so over whelmed with gratitude? Depends primarily on knowledge. Without knowledge one can’t truly receive Allah’s gift of Islam. If our knowledge is little, then we will constantly run the risk of losing that magnificent gift, which we have received unless we remain vigilant in our fight against ignorance.

Look what Imam Ahmad Ibn hambal Rahimahullah would say: “We will accompany the inkpot until our death.”

A person without knowledge is like someone walking along a track in complete darkness. Most likely his steps will wander aside and he easily can be deceived by shaytaan. This shows that our greatest danger lies in our ignorance of Islamic teachings and in our unawareness of what the Qur’an teaches and what guidance has been given by the Prophet (S). But if we are blessed with the light of knowledge we will be able to see plainly the clear path of Islam at every step of our lives. We shall also be able to identify and avoid the dangerous paths of Kufr, Shirk and immorality, which may cross it. And, whenever a false guide meets us on the way, a few words with him will quickly establish that he is not a guide who should be followed.

On this knowledge depends whether our children and we are true Muslims and remain true Muslims. It is therefore not a trivial to be neglected. We do not neglect doing whatever is essential to improve our trades and professions. Because we know that if we do neglect, we will starve to death and so lose the precious gift of life. Why then should we be negligent in acquiring that knowledge on which depends whether we become Muslims and remain Muslims? Does such negligence not entail the danger of losing an even more precious gift ? our Iman? Is not Iman more precious than life itself? Most of our time and labor is spent on things, which sustain our physical existence in this life. Why can we not spend even a tenth part of our time and energy on things, which are necessary to protect our Iman, which only can sustain us in the present life and in the life to come? It is not necessary to study extensively to become a Muslim. We should at least spend about one hour out of twenty-four hours of the day and night in acquiring the knowledge of this Deen, the way of life, the Islam.

Every one of us, young or old, man or woman, should at least acquire sufficient knowledge to enable ourselves to understand the essence of the teachings of the Qur?an and the purpose for which it has been sent down. We should also be able to understand clearly the mission, which our beloved Prophet (S) came into this world to fulfil. We should also recognize the corrupt order and system, which he came to destroy. We should acquaint ourselves, too, with the way of life which Allah has ordained for us.

No great amount of time is required to acquire this simple knowledge. If we truly value Iman, it cannot be too difficult to find one hour every day to devote for our Iman.

Knowledge is identified in Islam as worship. The acquiring of knowledge is worship, reading the Qur?an and pondering upon it is worship, travelling to gain knowledge is worship. The practice of knowledge is connected with ethics and morality ? with promoting virtue and combating vice, enjoining right and forbidding wrong. This is called in the Qur’an: amr bil-l ma’ruuf wa nah-y ‘ani-l munkar.

Not only should we seek knowledge, but when we learn it, it becomes obligatory on us to practice it. Though we must remember that correct knowledge should come before correct action. Knowledge without action is useless because a learned person without action will be the worst of creatures on the Day of Resurrection. Also, action should not be based on blind imitation for this is not the quality of a thinking, sensible human being.

Knowledge is pursued and practiced with modesty and humility and leads to beauty and dignity, freedom and justice.

The main purpose of acquiring knowledge is to bring us closer to God. It is not simply for the gratification of the mind or the senses. It is not knowledge for the sake of knowledge or science for the value of sake. Knowledge accordingly must be linked with values and goals.

One of the purposes of acquiring knowledge is to gain the good of this world, not to destroy it through wastage, arrogance and in the reckless pursuit of higher standards of material comfort.

Another purpose of knowledge is to spread freedom and dignity, truth and justice. It is not to gain power and dominance for its own sake.

It is impossible for anyone to gain anything more than a fraction of what there is to know in the short span of one?s life. We must therefore decide what is most important for us to know and how to go about acquiring this knowledge.

The following Verses and Ahadith shows how important and how rewarding knowledge is :-

• “Read and your Lord is Most Honorable, who taught (to write) with the pen, who taught man what he knew not.”(Qur’an, 96-3-5)
• “Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know?” (Al-Zumr, ayah 9)
• “Allah grants wisdom to whom He pleases and to whom wisdom is granted indeed he receives an overflowing benefit.” (Al-Baqarah, ayah 269)
• Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “One who treads a path in search of knowledge has his path to Paradise made easy by God…” – (Riyaz us-Saleheen, 245 ) 
• “When you pass by the meadows of Paradise indulge freely in it! They said: O Messenger of Allah! What are the meadows of Paradise? He said: The circles of ‘Ilm (knowledge).” (Tabrani)
• Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “God, His angels and all those in Heavens and on Earth, even ants in their hills and fish in the water, call down blessings on those who instruct others in beneficial knowledge.” –  (Tirmidhi, Hadith 422)
• Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “If anyone travels on a road in search of knowledge, God will cause him to travel on one of the roads of Paradise. The angels will lower their wings in their great pleasure with one who seeks knowledge. The inhabitants of the heavens and the Earth and (even) the fish in the deep waters will ask forgiveness for the learned man. The superiority of the learned over the devout is like that of the moon, on the night when it is full, over the rest of the stars. The learned are the heirs of the Prophets, and the Prophets leave (no monetary inheritance), they leave only knowledge, and he who takes it takes an abundant portion. – (Sunan of Abu-Dawood, Hadith 1631)
• After the obligatory deeds, nothing is more beloved to Allah than studying knowledge.  – Imam Shafi’i RA

We, the children, are the future. The future lies in our hands, but only through knowledge because whoever neglects learning in youth loses the past and is dead for the future.

Knowledge is power !!

And ALLAH knows the best.

May ALLAH (SWT) give us strength to behave and act just as He likes us to do.

Christmas in Islamic point of view

Christmas has come once again. And many Muslims around the world will be actually taking part in these festivities. They will do this without really questioning what they are doing, without even asking themselves if, as Muslims, they should be partaking in this.

Firstly, we are Muslims and we distinguish ourselves as being Muslims and following Islam. There is no need to follow the tradition of another religion, especially if we have been commanded by Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) not to. Allah Has Prescribed for us the festivities we should follow and there is no need to add to this by following something else. If celebrating Christmas was allowed, it would have been stated in hadith or the Qur’an. If doing this was ok, then would there be a need for Islam? Isn’t Islam enough for the Muslims?

• “Whoever seeks a religion other than Islaam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:85]

 

Secondly, it isn’t the actual birthday of Isa/Jesus (AS). Christmas is depicted as being lots of snow, Christmas trees, Santa Claus, Reindeers, magical things – nothing to do with Christianity. It doesn’t snow in the Middle East, there’s no Christmas trees there, no such thing as Santa Claus, no such things as flying reindeers – absolutely nothing to do with Isa/Jesus (as). So what we are actually engaging in has no basis in any religion and as Muslims are supposed to be religious, then this is a bit hypocritical. Christmas has nothing to do with Allah or the Prophets, so as Muslims; it has nothing to do with us.

Even if Christmas WAS the birthday of Isa/Jesus (as), this is not something to be celebrated as, in Islam, Muslims are not supposed to celebrate birthdays. We do not celebrate the Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) birthday and this was not done by the Sahabas (Companions) either. Those Muslims who do celebrate birthdays need to check their beliefs and look into why Islam does not allow this.

If we talk about wishing “Merry Christmas”, so it is ‘Haraam’ in Islam, because wishing a Christian “Merry Christmas” is equal to believing that Jesus Christ was the “Son of God. According to Qur’an that “Allah the Eternal Absolute; He begets not nor is He begotten” & the biggest abuse you can give to ALLAH is to say “He begot a son”. This is because; begetting is a lower animal function of sex which cannot be attributed to God. (Nauzbillah)

According to Christianity, Jesus (pbuh) is the only begotten son of God & Christmas is celebrated as his birthday. Since this is considered as the biggest abuse given to God, Muslims are not allowed to wish Christians on this day.

• They say: “(God) Most Gracious has begotten a son!” Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, that they should invoke a son for (God) Most Gracious. For it is not consonant with the majesty of (God) Most Gracious that He should beget a son.” [Quran 19:88-92]
• Say: He is Allah the One and Only; Allah the Eternal Absolute; He begets not nor is He begotten; and there is none like unto Him. [Quran -112]

Greeting on Christmas

According to Islam, God neither begets nor He is begotten

Muslims are not Christians, pagans, jews, buddhists, hindus, sikhs, atheists or belonging to any other religion or way of life. Muslims are Muslims and follow Islam. By celebrating Christmas you are actually following something else. And this undermines the strength of the Ummah. This is one of the reasons why the Ummah is weak – we do not adhere to Islam and only Islam. There is nothing wrong with saying that you are a Muslim and so do not celebrate Christmas. Non-Muslims respect this but it seems that Muslims do not want to feel like they are upsetting others.

The following hadiths are examples of how Muslims should not imitate the actions of non-Muslims.

• On the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Aas who said: “The Messenger of Allah saw me wearing two saffron garments and he said: ‘Indeed these are from the dress of the Kuffaar so do not wear them.’[Collected by Muslim (1/144), An-Nisaaee (2/298), Al-Haakim (4/190), and Ahmad in his Musnad (2/172, 164, 193, 207, and 211)]

• At-Tirmidhi narrated that Ibn Abbas (Raziallahu Anhu) reported that the Prophet (pbuh) said: “He is not one of us who imitates other than us. Do not imitate the Jews or the Christians.”

• At-Tabarani and Abu Dawud narrated that Ibn Umar and Hudhayfah (Raziallahu Anhu) reported that the Prophet (pbuh) said: “Whoever imitates a people, he is one of them.”

• Al-Bayhaqireported in his Sunan that Anas Bin Maalik (Raziallahu Anhu) said: “When the Prophet (pbuh) came to Medina, the people had two holidays from the days of Jahiliyyah.”

He (pbuh) said: “When I came to you, you had two days which you used to celebrate in Jahiliyyah. Allah subhanahu ta’ala has replaced them for you with better days, the days of slaughter (Adhaa) and the day of fitr.”

What does Christmas mean to most people? Well most people are not devout Christians and do not even believe Christmas to be connected to Isa/Jesus (as). For these people, Christmas is just a time to feel good, have parties, have a good time. And that’s about it. This is not what Muslims are about or should be about.

Muslims need to start standing up for Islam and stop acting like non-Muslims. We are not Christians and do not hold to those beliefs, unless they coincide with what is from Qur’an and Sunnah. We are not pagans, taking part in rituals that have no significance with Allah.

This is not about Muslims being segregated from society but more the opposite. This is about Muslims standing up and being identified as Muslims – not as though they have some confused fusion of identities. Islam is clear and Muslims need to be also. By being identified as Muslims, what Muslims stand for, what Islam stands for, you will gain respect from other Muslims, gain understanding and respect from non-Muslims and start to create societies where Muslims can be seen to have their place. This is about societies welcoming Muslims and Islam – it isn’t about eating into Islamic identity, which is what those Muslims are doing who are taking part in Christmas, Easter, Diwali, Hannukah and other non-Islamic festivals.

What should Muslims do?

Muslims need to stop engaging in Christmas festivities, parties, the giving of presents, sending cards, giving Christmas greetings. This is not Islamic so don’t have one foot in Islam and one foot in something else – that is a hypocritical stance to have. Instead, celebrate Islam – you have two Eids and can make the most of this. Be devout and upstanding Muslims that non-Muslims can respect for their Islamic values and morals and beliefs. If you don’t then what do you stand for?

Muslims need to come to terms with an Islamic identity and the fact that we are ordered by Allah not to imitate the kufaar – the non-Muslims. If anything, the non-Muslims have much to gain by imitating Muslims and learning from Muslims. We should be the role models, not the other way round. How will non-Muslims learn the errors of their ways, if we imitate them? Also, if we imitate the non-Muslims in the things they do, then where do you draw the line? Would you take part in Diwali which celebrates the many gods of the hindus? This would be committing shirk – the worst sin in Islam. The fairest and most just way is to not engage in festivities that are not Islamic.

Muslim parents need to explain to the schools that their children attend about Islamic values and why their children shouldnt take part in Christmas plays. This increases their understanding about Islam and helps future Muslims. Whenever I have explained things to non-Muslims, they have never looked at me in a bad way but respected me for my beliefs.

• Explain to non-Muslims about Islamic values and how we celebrate on Eid. They are not aliens and will understand.
• Muslims… you need to act like Muslims and BE Muslims, following Islam and showing everyone the beauty of Islam.

Who will Mahdi, And what happen when Maseeh(Jesus Christ) and Hazrat Mahdi will come to the EARTH

There are many misconceptions about Hazrat Mahdi ie. How will the Mahdi will look like or What he will do etc. Any one who sees an optical illusions declares himself a Mahdi. Like Mirza Gulam Ahmed Qadiyaani,Syed Mohammed Jaunpuri, Wallace Fard Muhammad, Elijah Poole (Muhammed), Isa Abdullah (Dwight York’s The Ansaarullah Cult), Abdullah Al-Harari Al-Habashi, Deviant Groups like Baha’is, Shi’ah etc. There are many who have called themselves Mahdi, How much Mahdivis we have had already and how much more are waiting in the wing?  Allaah can only help us from these so called Mehdis, it is really becoming difficult to make a choice when we receive them left, right and centre.  When someone has a personality disorder, he talks strange things and then, visualising the natural reaction of the people, automatically becomes paranoid and seeks refuge elsewhere.

Arrival of the “Promised Messiah” has not made life any easier for us.  We were mendicants and we will ever remain mendicants.

Many have claimed that they are Imam Mahdi. The list is big out which few I have mentioned above,Many Muslims have been trapped by this claim. Let us see what Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had said about the coming of Imam Mahdi.

There are saheeh Ahaadeeth that indicate that the Mahdi (peace be upon him) will appear at the end of time. He is one of the signs of the Hour. Among these ahaadeeth are the following:

Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allaah (Peace & Blessings of Allaah be upon Him) said: “At the end of the time of my ummah, the Mahdi will appear. Allaah will grant him rain, the earth will bring forth its fruits, he will give a lot of money, cattle will increase and the ummah will become great. He will rule for seven or eight years. (Mustadrak al-Haakim, 4/557-558; he said: this is a hadeeth whose isnaad is saheeh, Al-Dhahabi agreed with him, and al-Albaani said: this is a saheeh sanad, and its men are thiqaat (trustworthy), Silsilat al-ahaadeeth al-saheehah, vol. 2, p. 336, hadeeth 771)

The world will not come to pass until a man from among my family, whose name will be my name, rules over the Arabs. (Tirmidhi Sahih, Vol. 9, P. 74; Abu Dawud, Sahih, Vol. 5, P. 207; also narrated by Ali b. Abi Talib, Abu Sa’id, Umm Salma, Abu Hurayra)

Abdullaah ibn Mas’ood reported that the Prophet (Peace & Blessings of Allaah be upon Him) said: “The world will not come to an end until the Arabs are ruled by a man from my family whose name will be the same as mine.” (Musnad Ahmad, 5/199, hadeeth 3573. Another version says: “… whose name is the same as mine and whose father’s name is the same as my father’s.” Sunan Abi Dawud, 11/370).

Allah will bring out from concealment al-Mahdi from my family and just before the day of Judgment; even if only one day were to remain in the life of the world, and he will spread on this earth justice and equity and will eradicate tyranny and oppression. (Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, Vol. 1, P. 99)

Even if only a day remains for Qiyamah to come, yet Allah will surely send a man from my family who will fill this world with such justice and fairness, just as it initially was filled with oppression. (Abu Dawood)

The promised Mahdi will be among my family. God will make the provisions for his emergence within a single night. (Ibn Majah, Sahih, Vol. 2, P. 519)

‘Ali (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allaah (Peace & Blessings of Allaah be upon Him) said: ‘The Mahdi is one of us, a member of my family. Allaah will guide him in a single night.’” (Musnad Ahmad, 2/58, hadeeth 645, edited by Ahmad al-Shaakir, who said: its isnaad is saheeh; Sunan Ibn Maajah, 2/1367. This hadeeth was also classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’ al-Sagheer, 6735). Ibn Katheer said: “This means that Allaah will forgive him, grant him help, inspire him and guide him, when he was not like this before.” (Al-Nihaayah, al-Fitan wa’l-Malaahim, 1/29; edited by Taha Zayni).

The promised Mahdi will be among my progeny, among the descendants of Fatima. (Abu Dawud, Sahih, Vol. 2, P. 207; Ibn Majah, Sahih, Vol. 2, P. 519)

Umm Salamah said: “I heard the Messenger of Allaah (Peace & Blessings of Allaah be upon Him) say: ‘The Mahdi is of my lineage and family, from the descendants of Faatimah.’“(Sunan Abu Dawud, 11/373; Sunan Ibn Maajah. 2/1368. Al-Albaani said that it is saheeh in Saheeh al-Jaami, 6734)

The Mahdi will be of my family, of the descendants of Fatima (the Prophet’s daughter).(Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 2, Tradition No. 4086)

Al-Mahdi is one of us, the members of the household (Ahlul-Bayt). (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 2, Tradition No. 4085)

Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri said: “The Messenger of Allaah (Peace & Blessings of Allaah be upon Him) said: ‘The Mahdi is of my lineage, with a high forehead and a long, thin, curved nose. He will fill the earth with fairness and justice as it was filled with oppression and injustice, and he will rule for seven years.’” (Sunan Abi Dawud, Kitaab al-Mahdi, 11/375, hadeeth 4265; Mustadrak al-Haakim, 4/557; he said: this is a saheeh hadeeth according to the conditions of Muslim, although it was not reported by al-Bukhaari and Muslim. See also Saheeh al-Jaami, 6736).

Our Mahdi will have a broad forehead and a pointed (prominent) nose. He will fill the earth with justice as it is filled with injustice and tyranny. He will rule for seven years. (Abu Dawud, Sahih, Vol. 2, p. 208; Fusul al-muhimma, p. 275)

After the death of a Ruler there will be some dispute between the people. At that time a citizen of Madina will flee (from Madina) and go to Makkah. While in Makkah, certain people will approach him between Hajr-ul Aswad and Maqaame Ibraheem, and forcefully pledge their allegiance to him. Thereafter a huge army will proceed from Syria to attack him but when they will be at Baida, which is between Makkah and Madina, they will be swallowed into the ground. On seeing this, the Abdaals of Shaam as well as large numbers of people from Iraq will come to him and pledge their allegiance to him. Then a person from the Quraish, whose uncle will be from the Bani Kalb tribe will send an army to attack him, only to be overpowered, by the will of Allah. This (defeated) army will be that of the Bani Kalb. Unfortunate indeed is he who does not receive a share from the booty of the Kalb. This person (Imam Mahdi) will distribute the spoils of war after the battle. He will lead the people according to the Sunnah and during his reign Islam will spread throughout the world. He will remain till seven years (since his emergence). He will pass away and the Muslims will perform his Janazah salaat. (Abu Dawood)

Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allaah (Peace & Blessings of Allaah be upon Him) said: ‘‘Eesaa ibn Maryam will descend, and their leader the Mahdi will say, “Come and lead us in prayer,” but he will say, “No, one of them should lead them as an honour to this ummah from Allaah.”’” The version narrated by Muslim says: “… Then ‘Eesaa ibn Maryam (Peace be upon him) will descend and their leader will say, ‘Come and lead us in prayer,’ but he will say, ‘No, some of you are leaders over others as an honour from Allaah to this ummah.’” (Reported by Muslim, 225)

Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allaah (Peace & Blessings of Allaah be upon Him) said: “He is one of us, behind whom ‘Eesaa ibn Maryam will pray.” (Reported by Abi Na’eem in Akhbaar al-Mahdi. Al-Albaani said it is saheeh; see al-Jaami’ al-Sagheer, 5/219, hadeeth 5796).

According to these Reliable, Authentic, and Universally Accepted Narrations, Imam Mahdi will:

• Be from among the family of Prophet (SAW), among the descendants of Fatima (RA);
• Have a broad forehead and pointed noise;
• Appear in one night;
• Appear just before the day of judgment;
• Have same name as Hazrat Muhammad (SAW);
• Escape from Madina to Makkah where people will pledge allegiance to him;
• Receive pledge and help of Iraqi people;
• Fight in battles;
• Rule over the Arabs for seven or Eight years according to Sunnah;
• Spread justice and equity on earth;
• Eradicate tyranny and oppression;
• Lead a prayer in Makkah which Jesus (pbuh) will follow in;
• NOT be the same individual as the Promised Messiah (Jesus).
• Allaah will grant him rain, the earth will bring forth its fruits,
• He will give a lot of money, cattle will increase and the ummah will become great.
• He is one, behind whom ‘Eesaa ibn Maryam will pray.

And Now Hadith regarding the coming of Hazrat Eisa Ibne Maryam

Let us see, what Holy Prophet SAW said about this:

“By Him in Whose Hand is my life, Ibn Maryam (Jesus Christ) would certainly pronounce Talbiyah for Hajj or for Umrah or for both (simultaneously as a Qarin) in the valley of Rawha.” (Sahih Muslim, Book 7, No. 2877)

“Allah will send Maseeh ibne Maryam (Messiah son of Mary). Thus he will descend near the White Eastern Minaret of Damascus, clad in two yellow sheets, leaning on the shoulders of two angels.” (Sahih Muslim, Vol. 8, P. 192-193)

 “Hazrat Masih will die after completing the duration he was destined to pass in the world and that Muslims would offer his funeral prayers and bury him next to the grave of the holy Prophet (Saws), Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) and Hazrat Umar (RA).” (Mishkat, P. 480)

“By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, Son of Mary (Jesus) will shortly descend amongst you people (Muslims) as a just ruler and will break the Cross and kill the pig and abolish the Jizyah (a tax taken from the non-Muslims, who are in the protection, of the Muslim government). Then there will be abundance of money and no one will accept charitable gifts.” (Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 34, No. 425)

Mujammi Ibn Jariyah al-Ansari (RA) stated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say: The son of Mary will kill the Anti-Christ (Dajjal) at the door of Ludda. (Tirmidhi and Ahmad)

According to these Authentic and Universally accepted Hadith:

• The Promised Messiah is none other than Hazrat Isa bin Maryam (pbuh) (Jesus).
• He will descend among Muslims, near the White Eastern Minaret of Damascus, Syria, clad in two yellow sheets (dyed with saffron), while leaning on the shoulders of two angels;
• He will pray behind Imam Mahdi;
• He will fight with, chase, and kills Dajjal (the Anti-Christ) at the gate of Ludd;
• Messiah will rule justly according to the Laws of Islam and not Gospel;
• People of the Book will accept him as a Messenger of Allah (SWT) and will embrace Islam (Quran 4:159); subsequently, Cross (Christianity) and Jizyah tax (on non-Muslims) will be abolished;
• He will encounter attack of Gog and Magog and will be victorious;
• Islam and justice will rule, oppression will be eliminated, and no fighting (War) will be needed (will be abolished);
• Everyone will be well off and hatred, jealousy, and grudge will disappear;
• Messiah will perform Hajj and/or Umra;
• He will die after living on earth for 40 years and will be buried in a grave next to the holy Prophet(SAW).
• His advent is a sign for the closeness of the day of Judgment (Quran, 43:61)

Unity and Brotherhood in ISLAM

Islam means – Complete Submission to the Will of Allah. There is no but, if or else. Once you have declared yourself a Muslim then you have to abide by the Commands of Allah and Rasulallah (salallahoAlaiheWasalam), specially when the commands are very clear and unambiguous. As mentioned in Quran

“O’ Who believe! Enter into Islam whole-heartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the evil one; for he is to you an avowed enemy” (Surah Al-Baqara, verse 208).

Why is it that when the Muslims of the 21st century hear that there has been an earthquake in Indonesia, Pakistan or a Tsunami along the borders of Asia but do not feel pained? When they hear of such atrocities or sufferings happening to their beloved Muslim brothers across the world there is no shared grief or significant compassion? Why is it that today when we hear that our Muslim brothers and sisters around the world are being tortured mercilessly, their land and posessions destroyed/occupied; their children are being killed/enslaved in poverty and human rights are being annihilated, that we feel no pain?

While we are living and enjoying the comforts and luxuries of the 21st century, our brothers and sisters are being oppressed all around us. It has become such that we have become immune to hearing such afflictions. It has become such that we find it hard to shed even one tear.

Social service in Islam

What is the concept of social service in Islam? Do we have to work for the Muslim community only or for the whole of humankind as was done by Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) ? 

In Islam, social service is of immense significance. Whatever services a person renders for the welfare of humankind, and through these deeds, hopes for the blessings of Allah will be regarded as righteous deeds. These deeds if done solely for seeking the pleasure of Allah (and not for recognition or show) will be considered Karze Hasana and will surely be rewarded by Allah.

Allah says in the Glorious Qur’an :

“ Whoever comes (at Judgement) with a good deed will have better than it, and they, from the terror of that day, will be safe.” (Surah An-Naml, 27:89)

“He that does good shall have ten times as much to his credit ” (Surah Al An’am, 6:160)

“Then shall anyone who has done an atom’s weight of good see it!” (Surah Al-Zilzal, 99:7)

Allah repeatedly instructs as in the Glorious Qur’an to behave kindly, to give charity, to serve the poor, the orphans, and the needy. While the qur’an condemns hoarders and misers, it also prohibits ill-treating and threatening the poor and the needy.

In all these verses of the Qur’an, Allah has not instructed the Muslims to work only for the welfare of the Muslims. There is no such restraints. All these instructions are general in their scope and hence include both, the Muslims as well as the non-Muslims. The Prophet (pbuh) too has made it clear that striving of a Muslim for the welfare of any of the human beings or living creatures is an act of charity.

Narrated Anas bin Malik (RA) : Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) said : “There is none amongst the Muslims who plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, but is regarded as a charitable gift for him.” (Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 3, Hadith No. 513)

In Islam, removing a harmful thing from way is also Sadaqa (charity). (Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 4, Hadith No. 232)

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah’s Apostle (PBUH) said, “While a man was on the way, he found a thorny branch of a tree on the way and removed it. Allah thanked him for that deed and forgave him.” (Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 3, Hadith No. 652)

Islam ordains us to treat all the living creatures well and with kindness.

Social service that is done by a Muslim for any human being, irrespective whether the beneficiary is a Muslim or a non-Muslim, and which gets this beneficiary closer to his Creator Allah and makes him/her understand Islam better, then the reward for the performer of such service will be further multiplied. First, for the social service and second, for getting the other person closer to his Creator. These acts of social service include Islaah if the recipient is a Muslim and Daw’ah if the recipient is a non-Muslim.

Narrated Urwa bin Az-Zubair (RA): Hakim bin Hizam said, “O Allah’s Apostle (PBUH)! I used to do good deeds in the pre-Islamic period of ignorance, e.g., keeping good relations with my kith and kin, manumitting slaves (releasing and freeing slaves after paying for them) and giving alms. Shall I receive a reward for all that?” Allah’s Apostle replied, “You embraced Islam with all the good deeds which you did in the past.” (Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 3, Hadith No. 423 & Sahih Muslim, Vol. 1, Hadith No. 223)

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah’s Apostle (PBUH) said, “While a man was walking he felt thirsty and went down a well and drank water from it. On coming out of it, he saw a dog panting and eating mud because of excessive thirst. The man said, ‘This (dog) is suffering from the same problem as that of mine. So he (went down the well), filled his shoe with water, caught hold of it with his teeth and climbed up and watered the dog. Allah thanked him for his (good) deed and forgave him.” The people asked, “O Allah’s Apostle! Is there a reward for us in serving (the) animals?” He replied, “Yes, there is a reward for serving any animate.” (Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 3, Hadith No. 551)

Thus, social service in Islam carries great significance and it is to be done to all in general, regardless of the religion. And Allah knows best.

The system of Zakaat in Islam, however is a religious duty and obligation upon the Muslims and the beneficiaries of Zakaat are only Muslims. The Qur’an provides details about needy Muslims that are entitled to Zakaat : “Zakaat expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect (Zakaah) and for bringing hearts together (for Islam) and for freeing captives (or slaves) and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the (stranded) traveller – an obligation (imposed) by Allah. And Allah is knowing and wise.” (Surah Tauba, 9:60).

Why ?? in Qur’an.

1. Why does the Qur’an repeat the stories of the previous prophets like Moses’ and Jesus’s?
•  And altogether We do narrate upon you from the news of the prophets with which We make your heart firm and in these (stories) the Truth has reached you and an advice and a Message (of Allah) for the faithful. And say to those who do not have faith: Do from your position (of disbelief); We are doing! And wait (for Day of Judgment); We are waiting! And to Allah (belongs) the Unseen of the heavens and the earth; and to Him returns the whole matter. So worship Him and depend upon Him; And Your God is not unaware of what they are doing!
  Translation of: Ayat 120 – 123, Surat Hood.
2. Why do some people dispute about the Qur’an?
• Those who dispute in the lines of Allah without an authority that reached them; it is in there chests nothing but arrogance they are not going to reach it (greatness); So seek refuge with Allah; He is the All-Listener, the All-Seer. Certainly the creation of the heavens and the earth is (a) greater (matter) than the creation of humans but most of humans do not know. And the blind person and the person who sees are not equal; neither are those who believed and did the good deeds and the wrongdoer; Little is what you remember! Truly the Hour (Day of Judgment) is coming there is no doubt in it but most of humans do not believe. And your God said: Call upon Me; I will listen to you; Indeed those who become arrogant from worshipping Me (Allah) will enter Hell humiliated.

3.  Why is there a repeated threatening about Allah’s punishment in the Qur’an?
•  And that is how We sent it down an Arabic Qur’an; And We discharged freely in it from the threatening perhaps they might fear or it might bring about a Reminder (of Allah). So raised is Allah far above all; God, The One and Only, The Truth. And do not (to Prophet Muhammad) make haste with the Qur’an before its revelation has been completed to you; And say: My God add to my knowledge! And We had imposed a commitment on Adam before, and he forgot, and We (Allah) did not find him of a strong will.

4. Why did the righteous companions of the Prophet Muhammad used to cry when hearing the Qur’an?
• And He (Allah) is Who made rich and Who made slave; And He is the God of Sirius (mighty star)*; And He is Who destroyed the ancient “Aad”; And “Thamud” so He did not leave (a trace of them); And the people of Noah from before: They were the ones who were more unfair and more transgressors; And the city (of Lut) which was turned upside down fell deeper; So it was covered with what it was covered (Allah’s stones of punishment ‘Sijeel’); So which of the favours (not to be punished like the ancient people) of Allah do you doubt? This (Qur’an) is a warning like the ancient warnings. It has approached the Approaching Day (Judgment); No one other than Allah can uncover it. So from this speech you become surprised! And you laugh and you do not cry! While raising your heads up proudly! so prostrate (put your forehead on earth) to Allah and worship (Him).

5. Why should not anyone refer to the Qur’an as mythologies (imaginary stories) from the past?
•  Indeed your God is Who knows better who has strayed away from His Way and He knows who is the guided ones. So do not obey the nullifiers; They wished only if you (Muhammad) had compromised (about Religion) so that they could compromise (too). And do not obey every mean swearer, a backbiter, a spreader of calumny, an objector of good deeds, an aggressor, a sinner, cruel and on top of that impolite because he has wealth and sons; when Our lines (Qur’an) are recited upon him he says mythologies of the ancient people – We (Allah) will brand him on the prominent nose (his nose in the Other Life).

6. Why will the Qur’an be the authoritative argument against the disbelievers on the Day of Judgment?
• So those who believed and did the righteous deeds so their God (Allah) will admit them in His Mercy – That is the unmistakable victory; But those who disbelieved so were not My (Allah’s) lines* recited to you? So you became arrogant! And you were sinning people.

7. Why there is no changing in the words of the Qur’an from the time it was first revealed todate?
• And do recite (order to Muhammad) from Your God’s Scripture (Qur’an) – there is no changing of its words and you will not find other than with Him (Allah) a refuge.

8. Why there is no doubt in any verse (line) of the Qur’an?
• Alif Lam Meem*. That Scripture (Qur’an) there is no doubt in it as a Right Guidance for the God-fearing; Those who have faith in the Unseen (Allah’s) and they perform the prayer and from what sustenance We (Allah) gave them they spend; And those who believe in what has been sent down to you (Muhammad) and what was sent before you (to other Prophets) and of the Other World (Day of Judgment) they are certain; They are on Guidance from their God and they are the prosperous.

9.  Why are the verses (lines) of the Qur’an called “Ayat” and the miraculous signs of Moses are also called “Ayat”?
• Hint: Verses of the Qur’an are actually called in the Qur’an miraculous signs from Allah (=ayah or ayat) and not verses or lines.Note: “Ayah” is singular. “Ayat” is plural.A: A.L.R.* Those are the ayat of the Wise Scripture (Qur’an).

10. Why is the Qur’an full of warning to fear Allah?
•  And this is how We (Allah) sent it an Arabic Qur’an and We detailed (repeated in different forms) in it of the warning so that they may protect themselves by fearing Allah or (at least) it brings about to them a Reminder (of Allah).

11. Why is denying the Qur’an similar to denying the Torah?
• And they didn’t estimate the true worth of Allah when they said that Allah did not send anything (Qur’an) on a human (Prophet Muhammad) – say (command to Prophet Muhammad): Who sent down the Scripture (Torah) that Moses (=Moosa) brought as a Light and a Right Guidance for people? Making it (Torah) into separate sheets that you reveal and you conceal* many and you were taught (knowledge from Allah) that you did not know – you neither your forefathers – say: (the answer is) Allah then leave them wasting time in their false talk.

12. Why there is not any other Prophet or Holy Book sent by Allah after the Prophet Muhammad and the Qur’an?
• Note: Remember that the Qur’an was revealed between 610 CE to 632 CE.Hint: Compare to the Qur’an the books that are considered holy and came into existence after the Qur’an.A: For We (Allah) sent down upon you (Prophet Muhammad) the Scripture (Qur’an) for all people* with truth – so whoever is guided then it is for himself (his benefit) and whoever does wrong then he only does wrong for himself and you (Prophet Muhammad) are not for them responsible.
  * Other prophets were sent to their peoples but the Prophet Muhammad was sent to all humanity.
  Remember that the Prophet Muhammad is the seal of Allah’s long line of prophets.

13. Why is the Qur’an and its spreading feared the most among those who do not believe in Allah?
• And they (disbelievers) are forbidding it (Qur’an) and they keeping themselves away from it and in fact they are destroying none except their own souls and they do not realize (it).

14. Why should Muslims beware of using the verses (lines) of the Qur’an out of their context?
• And We detailed (repeated in different forms) in this Qur’an for people from every example* and man was the most in arguing (the Qur’an).
  Translation of: Ayah 54, Surat AlKahf.
  * To speak in parables – to point out morals.
  Note: In a summary of a saying of the Prophet Muhammad. Narrated by Ali Bin Abi Taleb may Allah be pleased with him: Once at night the Prophet Muhammad came to Ali Bin Abi Taleb and his wife Fatimah (the Prophet’s beloved daughter) so the Prophet said: Are you (both) not praying (extra prayers at night). So Ali Bin Abi Taleb answered: Our souls are in the Hand of Allah (when we were asleep) so if He wills He can send us back to life (= we were asleep and we did not awake because Allah did not make us awake). So the Prophet Muhammad left when he heard this and he did not say anything. Ali Bin Abi Taleb heard the Prophet while leaving hitting his thigh saying ” And man was the most in arguing (= waKana AlInsanu Aksthara Shayen Jadala). Narrated in “Muslim” and “AlBukhari’s” books of the Prophet’s authenticated sayings. Source: Tafseer Ibn Kastheer, Volume 3, page 132.
  Note: Remember the Qur’an says about the Prophet Muhammad: And We did not send you except as a Mercy to all people. Translation of Line 107 in Chapter AlAnbiya’. This clearly means that the Prophet Muhammad was Allah’s Mercy to humanity because he was sent with the Message (Qur’an) to take people out of the darkness of disbelieving into the light of believing.
  On the other hand the mentioned Line does not mean, as a Muslim imam preached on Friday (April 22, 2011), that Allah’s Mercy comes down where you are discussing the Prophet’s life story and the high morals of the Prophet peace be upon him. (Note: Allah’s Mercy can surround where anything of Allah’s Religion including the Prophet’s high character is discussed. But the mentioned line should not be taken out of context). And Allah knows Best.
15. Why was the Prophet Muhammad advised to feel easy when delivering the fully developed lines of the Qur’an?
• Alif Lam Meem Sad*; A Scripture that is sent down to you (Prophet Muhammad) so let not be in your chest uneasiness (hesitation) because of it so as you warn (humanity) by it and (it is) a Reminder to the believers.

16. Why is it a must for the believers not to talk while the Qur’an is being recited?
• And those who disbelieved said do not listen to the Qur’an and talk nonsense* in it (its reading) perhaps you may gain the upper hand.
  * Making loud sounds such as clapping during its recitation to distract from listening to it.

17. Why should Muslims be patient with those who oppose the Qur’an?
• And (command to Prophet Muhammad) adhere to what is being revealed (Qur’an) to you and be patient until Allah judges* and Allah is the Best among judges.

18. Why is the Qur’an comprehensive dealing with all important aspects of life?
• Alif Lam Ra’* – A Book (Qur’an) whose lines were made fundamental** then they were detailed from the One Who is All-Wise, All-Expert; Do not worship except Allah for I (Prophet Muhammad) am to you from Him (Allah) a warner and a bearer of good news.

19. Why does the Qur’an contain variations (not in the from Allah’s Torah or Allah’s Bible (Injeel in Arabic)?
• And we had sent prophets before you (Prophet Muhammad), and we gave them wives and offspring. No prophet was allowed to show a miraculous sign (= ayah) without permission from Allah. Every appointed time had a Book. Allah erases and makes firm what He pleases and He has The Mother (Origin) Of The Book*.

20. Why has Allah chosen the Arabic language as the language of the Qur’an?
• We didn’t send a prophet but in the language of his people so as to explain to them. And Allah makes astray (away from the Right Wath) whom He wants and He guides to the Right Way whom He wants. And He is The Powerful and The Wise.

21. Why was not the Qur’an sent down in another language other than the Arabic Language?
• Indeed those who disbelieve in Our lines cannot be hidden from Us; So the one who is thrown in Hell is better or the one who comes safe on The Day of Judgment? Do whatever you want! He is Watchful of what you are doing. Those who have rejected the Message when it reached them! And it is an Honorable Book; No falsehood can come to it from before it nor from behind it; It is a sending down from A Most-Wise, a Most-Praised. Whatever is said to you was said to the prophets before you; Truly your God is Most-Merciful and He is the Holder of a severe punishment. And if We made it a foreign (tongue) Qur’an they would have said: Only if its lines were explained; A Foreign (Qur’an) and an Arab (prophet)? Say: It is for those who have Faith a Right Guidance and a healing; And those who do not have Faith in their ears there is cavity (deafness) and it (Qur’an) is upon them blindness; Those are (as it were) being called from a far away place! And We gave Moses (Moosa) the Book and it was disagreed in it; And was it not for a Word that was pre-uttered from Your God it would have been judged among them; And they are from it in a questionable doubt! Whoever does good it is for himself and who does wrong it is upon himself; And your God is not an unjust to His servants.
